Gogo is looking for a thoughtful, collaborative, and high-energy problem solver to drive programs critical to the future of the organization. As an AssociateRF System Simulation Engineer at Gogo, you will develop and validate RF network simulation tools modeling performance of Gogo’s satellite and Air to Ground (ATG) solution.

How will you make a difference?
- Build Python open source based satellite constellation modeling tool utilizing satellite ephemeris data
- Adapt existing Matlab link budget calculation scripts to Python
- Incorporate flight position data and antenna pattern data in simulating throughput statistics
- Automate scripting noise measurement collection at cell sites
- Collect and analyze Base station antenna attitude sensor data
- Automate 5G test scripts
- Data analytics of 4G and 5G test data
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or similar technical discipline (communications).
Required Skills, Experience and Talents
- Proficiency with Python or C/C++ and object-oriented programming design
- Proficiency with Matlab
- Proficiency with statistical analysis
- Experience with RF test equipment: spectrum analyzer, signal generator, network analyzer
Preferred Skills, Experience and Talents
- Knowledge of Wireless communication link budgets
- Knowledge of traffic engineering queuing principles
- Knowledge of GIS and mapping tools
- Knowledge of shell scripting tools
- Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills
- Ability to work in an ambiguous and fast pace environment
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with people in a variety of disciplines though all levels of an organization

72,000.00 - 90,000.00 USD AnnualTarget Annual Short-Term Incentive:
